About Volunteering Kirklees
Core Functions
Volunteering Kirklees has six core functions through which it provides support for individual volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations.
The six core functions are to:
- Develop volunteering
- Promote volunteering
- Provide brokerage [i.e. information and referral for voluntary opportunities]
- Enable participation in volunteering
- Provide information, training and research into volunteering
- Comment and campaign on volunteering
